Our design successfully immerses players in the gritty authenticity of Hell Let Loose, as well as introducing them to its sequel, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.
Using HubSpot CMS, the site works as a central hub for the Hell Let Loose community to get updates on the game and any new media. The site was built to further solidify Hell Let Loose as a key franchise in the historical war gaming space.
Hell Let Loose and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam span two distinct historical settings - from the Second World War to the Vietnam. With potential for the franchise to develop further, the design delivered had to perform flawlessly both visually and on a UX level.
While the games closely resemble their eras and locations, our website plants itself firmly in the modern day. We chose contemporary typography and layouts for a sense of newness and difference using clean, sharp lines and a colour scheme that is consistent with the franchise.
As a key part of the game’s genre, immersion was at the forefront of our minds. We created a dual-page split for the homepage, inviting players to click through to Hell Let Loose, or Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. These are presented side by side to give each game equal weight; a mechanism has the potential to expand with the franchise.

The CMS - engineered through a combination of HubSpot and Strapi, including a dynamic blog system which allows for video elements, as well as creative interactions, and smooth transitions. The resulting visuals are high-impact, modern, and always respectful of the franchise.
1minus1 delivered a dual-game website that feels modern, fresh, and timeless, appealing to existing and new players alike.
Like the game itself, the website is both visually appealing and accessible. From its use of video, to expanded brand assets and news, each element is future-proofed to expand along with Team17's vision.
