One of the reasons we love Ruby is that it is so easy to create really powerful websites and applications. It is also really very fast when compared to some other technologies (dependent on what exactly you want to build). Used within the RoR (Ruby on Rails) framework, it is a really elegant and fun way to build things. That is why we have used it for some of our own pieces of work, and consider it very carefully as the basis for client work.
